Extend the scope of your CIMPS system to the examination of OPV, LED, OLED, ...

CIMPS-emit adds the recording of spectral resolved and integral emission characteristics in dependence of the cell voltage and the cell current to the core applications of a CIMPS system. The resulting series of emission spectra can be visualized, processed, analyzed and exported in manifold ways by means of the Thales lightspectra software.

This option complements CIMPS by a NIST traceable calibrated photo-detector to enable integral light emission measurements. For spectral resolved emission, an additional wideband UV-VIS-IR spectrometer can be added. In the same way as with CIMPS-abs, automatic spectra series measurements vs. cell-voltage, current, time or charge can be performed. In addition, series parameters like temperature, voltage and pH can be implemented. Of course, the recording of emission spectra can also be triggered manually while controlling the electrochemical parameters. Like for CIMPS-abs, the light spectra analysis package of Thales supports single / multi-spectra 2-D, multi-spectra 3-D and contour plot visualization for instance as emission, transmittance, absorbance, extinction in linear or logarithmic scale vs. wavelength or wave-number. Data can be exported in the ASCII format, as bitmaps or as Windows®-EMF graphics via copy & paste or as files.
